There are 3 soup cans for the price of $3.75 , and 5 for the price of $6.25.

What is the constant of proportionality for this situation?
Explain what this value means in terms of the soup.

Answer:

5 Soup can

Explanation:

If 3 soup can cost $3.75

Then 1 soup can will cost $3.75/3

So, how many can soup will cost $6.25

= $6.26/(cost of 1 soup can)

= $6.25/($3.75/3)

=$6.25 × 3÷ 3.75

= 5 cans of soup
