She buys 2 1/4 yards of fabric that cost $5 a yard, two spools of thread that cost $1.35 each three buttons that cost $2.25 each, and a zipper that costs $3.60. what is the total for her items? Compute the amount of sales tax which is $8. Then find a grand total for all her items and tax combined.

2 1/4 x 5 = $11.25

1.35 x 2 = $2.70

2.25 x 3 = $6.75

3.60 x 1 = $3.60

Adding all of the prices up, you get $23.80
