Answer:

Interphase is a non-dividing phase.

Step-by-step explanation:

Interphase is a non-dividing phase which is a phase between two successive Mitosis phase. It is a preparatory phase during which cell prepares for the next cell division and grows to the same size as their mother cell. Duplication of DNA content happens in this phase,. Interphase is further divided into three sub-phases- i) G1 phase , which is interval between mitosis and beginning of DNA replication; ii) Systhesis phase (S-Phase), where DNA synthesis takes place; iii) G2 phase or Second growth phase, where formation of RNA and proteins continues, it also prepares the cell to undergo mitosis.
