Answer: Y = 1/2x + 6

Explanation:

In order to find the slope you have to use the formula

M=y2-y1/x2-x1 so plug in the coordinates. The first set of points 1, 7 is X1 Y1 and the second set of points -1, 6 is X2 Y2

6-7 / -1 - 1 so the slope = -1/-2 which is 1/2

Then you take 1/2 for the slope, choose one point and you plug it in to the slope intercept formula

Slope formula is

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

Y- 7 = 1/2 (x - 1)

Y-7 = 1/2x - 1

+7 +7

Y= 1/2x +6
