Answer:

Part A). The intersection point of the line is (-2,1)

Part B). The intersection points of the line line itself

Explanation:

The equation of a line is given by y=mx+c

Where, m= slope and c=y-intercept.

Part A).

Given two-equation of a line is :

1. y=x+3

2. y=(-2)x-3

To plot graph:

We need at least two points to plot the line.

For a line: y=x+3

When x=0

y=x+3

y=0+3=3

When x=1

y=x+3

y=1+3=4

Point (0,3) and (1,4) is on line y=x+3,

For a line: y=(-2)x-3

When x=0

y=(-2)x-3

y=0+3=(-3)

When x=1

y=(-2)x-3

y=(-2)1-3=(-5)

Point (0,-3) and (1,-5) is on line y=(-2)x-3

Thus, From the graph, The intersection point of the line is (-2,1)

Part B).

Given two equation of a line is :

1. y-6=2x

2. y=2(x+1)+4=2x+2+4=2x+6

To plot graph:

We need at least two points to plot the line.

For a line: y-6=2x

When x=0

y-6=2x

y-6=0

y=6

When x=1

y-6=2x

y-6=2(1)

y=8

Point (0,6) and (1,8) is on line y-6=2x

For a line: y=2x+6

When x=0

y=2x+6

y=0+6=6

When x=1

y=2x+6

y=(2)+6=8

Point (0,6) and (1,8) is on line y=2x+6

Thus,

From the graph, Both the line are same, the intersection points of the line line itself
