Explanation:
3/4 acre in 1 3/4 hours
x acre in 1 hour
Cross multiply and solve for x:
x* 1 3/4 = 3/4*1
x*7/4 = 3/4
x = 3/4 : 7/4
x = 3/4*4/7
x = 3/7 acre / hour
