Now, between Δ ABC and Δ DBE

(i) ∠ DEB = ∠ ACB {Corresponding angles as BC is the transverse line}

(ii) Again, ∠ BDE = ∠ BAC {Corresponding angles as AB is the transverse line}

(iii) Again, ∠ B is the common angle.

Therefore, Δ ABC is similar to Δ DBE by Angle-Angle similarity postulate. (Answer)
