if a cookie weighs 3/4 of an ounce, how many ounces does a case of 24 packages with 16 cookies in each package weigh?

Answer:

Hey! What you're going to want to do is take 24 (number of packages) and multiply it by 16 (number of cookies in each package). This will get you the total amount of cookies, 384. Then, you'd multiply 384 (amount of cookies) by 3/4 ounces (weight of each cookie). You'd get 288 ounces, the weight. You could also simplify and get 18 pounds. Hope this helped :) !
