Let The distance between the points E and F = D

So, D =
\sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^(2) + ( y_2 - y_1 )^(2) }

or, D =
\sqrt{(2 - (- 2 ))^(2) + ( 2 - ( - 4 ))^(2) }

Or, D =
\sqrt{( 4 )^(2) + ( 6 )^(2) }

or, D =
√(16 + 36)

∴ D =
√(52)

I.e D = 7.21 unit

So, Approximate value of D = 7 unit
