He conducts a play with actors showing how and when his Uncle killed his father and his uncle is outraged and storms out of the play. At the end of the play Hamlet poisons the tip of his sword and stabs his uncle and forces him to drink poison that was intended for Hamlet after winning a duel with his lovers brother 'Laertes'. Hamlet dies from the same poison after being stabbed by Laertes. It seems to be the poison that kills him.
