Hence the equation can be framed as;


x=4y-520

Substituting the value x in equation 1 we get;


x+y=2985\\4y-520+y=2985\\5y= 2985+520\\5y =3505\\y= (3505)/(5) = 701

Substituting the value of y in equation 1 we get;
