Answer:

b. 97

Explanation:

Home work = 88

20 % of 88 = 88 x 20/100 = 17.60

Quiz Average= 84

25 % of 88 = 84 x 25/100 = 21

Test Average= 92

40 % of 92= 92 x 40/100 = 36.8

Add all = 17.60 +21+ 36.8= 75.40

Let the marks be x in final exam

The percentage is 15 % and scores a 90 in a class we can write

15x/100 + 75.40 =90

0.15x= 90-75.40

0.15x= 14.60

x= 14.60/0.15= 97

final exam marks will be 97
