Answer:

The number of organisms of a species that a particular environment can hold is termed as the carrying capacity of that area. Factors such as drought can cause the carrying capacity to reduce for a population. The organisms will fight for water, as a result, those organisms which will be depleted of water will die. The plants in this area will die due to the absence of water. The organisms who feed on them will be affected. As a result, the predators which feed on the organisms will also reduce.
