Answer:

Total cost of the indoor paint in storage = $462

Explanation:

Total gallons of paint the store has = 35

Fraction of paints for outdoor use =
(2)/(5)

Number of gallons for outdoor use can be found out by finding
(2)/(5) of total gallons of pain which is 35.

So, number of gallons for outdoor use =
(2)/(5)* 35

(70)/(5)

14 gallons

The remaining gallons are for indoor use.

Number of gallons for indoor use =
35-14=21 gallons

Cost per gallon of paint = $22.

Total cost of indoor paint in storage =
Unit\ cost* Total\ gallons\ of\ indoor\ paint

22* 21
