Answer:

The money saves by Tina is $ 77 and

The money saves by Gina is $ 51

Explanation:

Given as :

The combined saving amount of Tina and Gina = $ 128

And , Tina has saved 25 dollars less than double the Gina amount.

Let The amount saved by Tina = $ T

And The amount saved by Gina = $ G

Now, According to question

The combined saving amount of Tina and Gina = The amount saved by Tina + The amount saved by Gina

Or, T + G = $ 128 ...........1

And T = 2 G - $ 25 .............2

Now solving both equations

I.e ( 2 G - $ 25 ) + G = $ 128

or, ( 2 G + G ) = $ 128 + $ 25

Or, 3 G = $ 153

∴ G =
(153)/(3) = $ 51

So, the money saves by Gina = G = $ 51

Put value of G in eq 2

So, T = 2 G - $ 25

Or, T = 2× $ 51 - $ 25

∴ T = $ 102 - $ 25 = $ 77

So, the money saves by Tina = T = $ 77

Hence The money saves by Tina is $ 77 and The money saves by Gina is $ 51 Answer
