What is the answer to -10+x+4-5=7x-5

x= -1

Explanation:

  1. First, you write down the problem once again on a piece of paper
  2. Then, you see that there is an x you can cross out so you do minus x minus x so it will now be -10+4-5=6x-5
  3. Then, you have to cross out the 5's because the 5 is on the x side and, we need the numbers to be on one side and the variables on the other side of the equal sign. The equation will look like this : -10+4=6x
  4. Next, you do -10+4 which is -6 because it is like 10-4 but the other way around so the answer is -6 so, the equation is now -6=6x
  5. Finally, you divide both sides by two which will be x= -1

x - 11 = 7x - 5

6x = -6

x = -1
