4x - 3+5 = 2x + 7 - 8x

4x +2 = -6x +7

4x +2 = -6x +7

taking x to the other side then we get

4x+6x = -2+7

10x = 5

divide both side by 10

10x/10 =5/10

x= 1/2

hence solution for x in the equation is x= 1/2
