75° + 3x° + (4y + 10)° = 180°

Since the triangle is an isosceles triangle and base angle of an isosceles triangle are equal

Therefore: 3x° = 75°

So

75° + 3x° + (4y + 10)° = 180°

75° + 75° + (4y + 10)° = 180°

150° + (4y + 10)° = 180°

(4y + 10)° = 180° - 150°

(4y + 10)° = 30°

4y = 30 - 10

4y = 20

Divide both side by 4

y = 20/4 = 5.

y = 5
