He also receives $2 for each video he sells.

Answer:

y = 50 + (2times230) = 510

Explanation:

There are 230 audience member. It can be like all the audience can buy a video or some of the audience buy a video or no one will buy.

If we take y as the amount that Roger is going to get for selling the videos then y can be represented as
y = 50 + 2timesx
. x is the number of videos that get sold.

x's value differs from 0 to 230.

The practical domain of a function is represented by the values of the variable for which the function will work. Here the variable that is x differs from 0 to 230. Hence, domain of the function is between 0 and 230.

Roger will earn most if all the audience buy a video. It means x = 230.

y = 50 + (2times230) = 510
