The only difference that would have been made, is when it comes to colors. Some fibers are the same, but have different care instructions. Why? A red, cotton dress is not supposed to be washed on the same temperature like a white, cotton dress. Other than that, each fiber has the same instruction when it comes to washing and taking care of it.
