y=mx+b

3x+2y=-14

move 3x to the other side

sign changes from +3x to -3x

3x-3x+2y=-3x-14

2y=-3x-14

divide both sides by 2 to get y by itself

2y/2=-3x/2-14/2

answer:

y=-3/2x-7

Answer:

Y=-3/2x-7

So first subtract the 3x to the other side so it turns into 2y=-3x-14 then you divide both the -3x and -14 by two and you get that answer
