1 . Perimeter of the square = ?

2. Area of the square = ?

Solution :

For a SQUARE

  • All sides are equal in measurement.
  • Area of square is given by (side × side) i. e (side)²
  • Perimeter of a square is 4 × side

∴ Perimeter of a square = 4 × side

= 4× 4√5

= 16√5 millimeter

∴ Area of square = (side)²

= ( 4√5)²

= 16×5

= 80 square millimeter
