Explanation:

Let x = total number of customers

80% of x bought a drink

30% of x bought a snack

30% of x = 120

0.30 * x = 120

0.30x = 120

x = 120/0.30

x = 400

80% of x bought drink

80% * 400

= 0.80 * 400

= 320

320 customers bought a drink

How many more drinks were sold

= 320 - 120

= 200

200 more drinks were sold than snacks
