Damien bought a box of 28 cookies. At the end of the day, 3/5 of the cookies were uneaten. To determine how many cookies were eaten, 28 can be multiplied by which decimal value?

so we know the fraction is 3/5 which is the number of cookies. so you would do 5 into 28 which is 5.6 and multiply that by 3 so then the answer to this is 16.8

the number 28 can be multiplied by .6 to get this number too

Explanation:

28 * 3/5 = 28 * 0.6 ....so 28 can be multiplied by 0.6 which is 3/5 in fraction form)

It needs to be multiplied by 20%, aka 0.2 in decimal form
