Janita practices on the track field 1.5 hours each day. She needs to complete 12 hours of practice before the next meet. She has already practiced for 6 days. How many more hours does Janita need to practice?

3 hours

Answer: Janita needs to practice for 3 more hours.

Step-by-step explanation: If Janita practices 1.5 hours each day, and she has already practiced for 6 days Then just multiply 6 times 1.5 to know how many hours she has put in for those 6 days of practice. Then, if calculated correctly you should have recieved 9 hours. Next just subtract 9 from 12 and you will get 3. Which is your answer.
