Solve the inequality |x ‒ 19| > 3 and explain what the solution means in the context of the problem. Be sure to state both your solution(s) and your explanation.

Answer:

I didnt know if you wanted the Inequality Form or the Interval Notation so I will just give you both .-.

The Inequality Form is x<16 or x>22

The Interval Notation is (−∞,16)∪(22,∞)

In order to solve for x you have to simplify both sides of the inequality, then isolating the variable.
