I REALLY NEED HELP FAST!

When driving past the gas station earlier, I noticed that gas was $2.18 a gallon. On my way back home, the gas was $2.48 a gallon. What was the percent increase in the price of gas rounded to the nearest tenth?

Answer:

13.76%

Explanation:

You need to find the percentage change.

Percentage change= final amount- original amount divided by original amount

and then times 100

So: $2.48-$2.18= $0.30

$0.30 divided by $2.18 and then times 100= 13.76%
