Answer:

A chemical reaction is a process where bonds are formed between reactant elements causing interaction hence products are formed.

The two types of chemical reaction:

{ \boxed{ { \rm{ \bold{ \dashrightarrow \: reversible \: reaction}}}}}

This is a reaction where reactants interact chemically to form respective products and also products can react to reverse the reaction (to form reactants).

An example of reaction of hydrogen and oxygen:

{ \rm{2H_(2(aq)) +O_(2(aq)) \: {}{ ^( \dashrightarrow)_( \dashleftarrow) \: 2H _(2)O _((l)) }}}

{ \boxed{ \rm{ \bold{ \dashrightarrow irreversible \: reaction}}}}

It is a one way reaction, cannot be reversed

{ \rm{Mg_((s)) + N _(2(g) \: )\rightarrow \: \: Mg _(3) N _(2(s)) }}
