Basketballs come in many different sizes and are measured by their circumference. The official size of the basketball used by the NBA is 29.5 inches in circumference. Answer:

Volume = 4πr^3/3

= 4 x 3.14 x 4.7/2 x 4.7/2 x 4.7/2 x 1/3

= 39.5 (approx.)

Hope this helps!
