The total number of cookies needed for the bake sale is 8 1/2 dozen. Two of your friends will bake 1/4 of the cookies your sister will bake 1/8 of the cookies. what fraction of the cookie do you need to bake?

Answer: 1/8

Explanation:

you have 8 1/2 which if you round up the fraction to ?/8 it would be 4/8. Do the same thing to 1/4, turning it into 2/8, then you have the 1/8. If you add all of those together you have 7/8, leaving 1/8 left over. (I may have gotten this wrong, I'm a bit tired rn)
