Answer:

The distance between the given coordinate of the points is 2 unit

Explanation:

Given as :

The coordinate of points as

A = (
x_1 ,
y_1 ) = ( - 3 , 3 )

B = (
x_2 ,
y_2 ) = ( - 3 , 1 )

The distance between the points A and B is given as AB

Or, AB =
\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^(2) + (y_2-y_1)^(2) }

Or, AB =
\sqrt{( - 3 + 3)^(2) + (1 - 3)^(2) }

Or, AB =
\sqrt{( 0)^(2) + ( - 2)^(2) }

or, AB =
√(4)

∴ AB = 2 unit

So, Distance = AB = 2 unit

Hence The distance between the given coordinate of the points is 2 unit .Answer
