Imagine that the school board no longer allows a free dress code and is requiring all high school students to

wear school uniforms. Your job is to write a letter to the school board convincing them that a free dress code
should be allowed.

Answer: Dear School Board,

This letter is going to be about the uniforms that you are applying to this school. Many students think against this idea you have, since clothes are a way to express yourself. We students, strongly agree that we should be free to wear whatever we want. Clothes make us socialize, make us talk to each other, communicate. We´ll go shopping for back-to-school outfits together, talk about funny outfits we could wear to school, and just have fun. You don´t want a school where students never talk to each other, are always bored, and never smile, do you? It will also make people uncomfortable and distract themselves from their schoolwork. School is about learning and socializing, and a uniform code would not help boost that. I hope you reconsider this rash decision you are making.

Thank you for your time,
