A local animal feed company makes its feed buy a ton which is 2000 pounds. They want to include a medication in the field. Each county is 300 mg of his medication a day and each cow consumes 15 pounds of the feet per day. If there are 1000 mg in a gram how many grams of the medication should the feed company ad for each ton of food they produce

Answer: There is 400 grams of medication that should the feed company ad for each ton of food they produce.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Quantity of medication each country need a day = 300 mg

Number of pounds per day consumes by each cow = 15 pounds

So, it becomes

(300)/(15)=20\ mg/pounds

As we know that

1 g = 1000 mg

So, 20 mg =
(20)/(1000)=0.02\ g/pounds

Total number of pounds = 2000 pounds

So, number of grams of medication that should the feed company ad for each ton of food they produce is given by

2000* 0.02=400\ grams/ton

Hence, there is 400 grams of medication that should the feed company ad for each ton of food they produce.
