the formula for kinetic energy is as such:
E_(k) = (1)/(2)(m)(v^(2) ), where
E_(k) is kinetic energy, m is mass (in kg) and v is velocity/speed in m/s


E_(k) = (1)/(2) (0.260) (31.29^(2) ) \\ = 127 Joules (3 s.f.)
