The PVT behavior of a certain gas is described by the equation of state: P(???? − ????) = ????T, where ???? is a constant. If in addition c???? is constant, show that: (a) ???? is a function of T only. (b) ???? = const. (here, ???? is the ratio of specific heats) (c) For a mechanically reversible process, P(???? − ????)???? = const.

PV = nRT, where R is a constant. If in addition P is constant, show that: (a) V is a function of T only. (b) n = const. (here, γ=Cp/Cv) is the ratio of specific heats. (c) For a mechanically reversible process, P(V-b)^γ = const.
