Answer: 126 inches.

Explanation:

Step 1. Ok since there are 36 inches in 1 yard we need to multiply 36 by 3 to find how many inches there are in 3 yards.

36*3=108.

Step 2. Now we need to find out how many inched is in 0.5 yards. To do this we would divide 36 by 2.

36/2=18.

Step 3. Now all we have to do is add 108 to 18.

108+18= 126.
