Number of different ways he can create a path to 3 different roller coasters is given by;

N = nPr ( n permutation r) = n!/(n-r)!

Where n is the total number of roller coasters = 10

and r is the number of roller coasters he could ride = 3

Therefore,

N = 10P3 = 10!/(10-3)! = 10!/7!

N = 10×9×8 = 720

N = 720
