Answer:

(0,-3) I think

Explanation:

The way I learned it 1/4 is the rise over run. so you are at your point and you go up one unit and then left or right 4 units.

First off you'll want to find the equation for a line that passes through the point (4,-4) and has a slope of 1/4. You can use the formula y=mx+b

  • m is the slope, and
  • b is the y-intercept

So right now we have this...y=1/4x+b.

We can plug anything we want in for x and y here, but we want the equation for the line that specfically passes through the the point (4,-4). So, why not plug in for x the number 4 and for y the number -4? This will allow us to solve for b for the particular line that passes through the point you gave!

(4,-4). y=mx+b or -4=1/4 × 4+b, or solving for b: b=-4-(1/4)(4). b=-5.

The equation of the line that passes through the point (4,-4) with a slope of 1/4

is y=1/4x-5, now you'll need to graph it, I'll just put a picture in.

Hope this helps you, have a BLESSED and wonderful day, as well as a safe one!
