I got my answer by multiplying the numerator and denominator by 2. you can also multiply by 3 so 15/18 or multiply by 4.. or 5, any number works

First it's not "equivolent" but "equivalent".

Second it's not "five-sixth" but "five sixths".

Third five sixths is just five sixths you cannot simplify it further.

Hope this helps mathematically and grammatically.
