If we assume that one of the equal sides of the isosceles triangle is 60°, then another equal side will also be 60° and therefore, the third angle will automatically become (180° - 60° - 60°) = 60°.

Therefore, the triangle will become an equilateral triangle, which is not possible.

Again, if we assume that the unequal angle of the isosceles triangle is 60°, then the equal angles will also become 60° as
(1)/(2) [180 - 60] = 60 degree.

Therefore, again the triangle will become an equilateral which is not possible. (Answer)
