A radio telescope's shape can be approximated with the equation y=0.011x^2. Is the relationship between x and y linear? Is it proportional?

The relationship is not linear, because the distance between each y value does not increase by an equal amount each time. It is not proportional because the ratio of x and y values does not stay the same for each coordinate.
