  • from the given graph, it can be seen that, the curve passes through (0,15)
  • by substituting this point in y=a*(b)^x,

15=a*(b)^0

15=a

  • it can also be seen that the curve passes through (1,5)
  • by substituting this point in y=a*(b)^x,

5=a*b

5=15*b ( since, we have found that a=15 from the before steps)

  • dividing both the sides by 15,

5/15=b=1/3

  • hence,

a= 15

b=1/3.
