Describe the major environmental effects of hunter-gatherers, the agricultural revolution, and the

The major environmental effects are as follows:

Hunter-gatherers:

  • Over hunting species leads to extinction (especially species like giant sloths, giant bison, mastodons, cave bears, saber-toothed cats)

Agricultural Revolution:

  • Flora and Fauna became domesticated
  • Habitats were destroyed because the grasslands forests and wetlands were replaced by farmland that results in erosion and floods and made the soil less fertile

Industrial revolution

  • Artificial substances replaced raw animals and plant products (plastics, pesticides)
  • The rate of pollution increased.
