The major environmental effects are as follows:
Hunter-gatherers:
Over hunting species leads to extinction (especially species like
giant sloths, giant bison, mastodons, cave bears, saber-toothed cats
)
Agricultural Revolution:
Flora and Fauna became domesticated
Habitats were destroyed because the
grasslands forests and wetlands were replaced by farmland
that results in erosion and floods and made the soil less fertile
Industrial revolution
Artificial substances replaced
raw animals and plant products
(plastics, pesticides)
The
rate of pollution
increased.
