We can express that by an equation: A + B+ C = 180 degrees. So, in this case we have 55 + 80 + C = 180 degrees. Now we can calculate the value of the angle C.

C= 180-(55+80)

C= 180 - 135

C= 45 degrees

So the x, or in this case the angle C is 45 degrees.
