  • P=2000Pa
  • F=15N

\\ \rm\longmapsto P=(F)/(A)

\\ \rm\longmapsto A=(F)/(P)

\\ \rm\longmapsto A=(15)/(2000)

\\ \rm\longmapsto A=0.007m^2

Given that,

Pressure, P = 2000 Pa

Force, F = 15 N

To find,

The area of the cross section.

Solution,

We know that,

Pressure = force/area

or

P=(F)/(A)\\\\A=(F)/(P)\\\\A=(15)/(2000)\\\\=0.0075\ m^2\\\\=75\ cm^2

So, the area of cross section is
75\ cm^2.
