1. A piece of steel has a volume of 12 cm3
and a mass of 96g. What is its density?

Answer:

it's density is 8 g /cm³

Explanation:

Mass (m) = 96 g

Volume (v) = 12 cm³

Density (d) =?

We know density is defined as mass per unit volume so

d = m/v

= 96 / 12

= 8 g/cm³
