How does plants get and use nitrogen and magnesium?​

Plants will nitrogen from the soil by absorption through their roots as amino acids, ammonium ions, nitrite ions, or nitrate ions. Magnesium is the powerhouse behind photosynthesis in plants, Without magnesium, chlorophyll can't capture sun energy needed for photosynthesis.
