Mark has $80 to spend at a store. He will spend $56 on a shirt, and then buy some socks. Each pair of socks cost $6. He wants to buy as many pairs as possible. The following equation show how to find the number of pairs of socks can he buy; 80 = 56 + 6x. How many socks can he buy?

Answer: your answer is four

Step-by-step explanation: I basically did 80-56 since he bought a shirt that cost 56 dollars so then from that we found out how much money he has left which is $24 now since were looking for the amount of socks he could possible but I then divide $24 by 6 since each pair cost $6 which then gives you 4.
