Answer:

The width of the rectangle is
(1)/(14) miles

Explanation:

Given as for rectangle

The area of rectangle = A =
(3)/(4) mile²

The Length of rectangle = L =
(21)/(2) mile

Let The width of rectangle = W miles

Now, From area of rectangle

I.e Area of Rectangle = Length × Width

Or , A =
(21)/(2) mile × W mile

Or,
(3)/(4) mile² =
(21)/(2) mile × W mile

or, W =
((3)/(4))/((21)/(2)) mile

or, W =
(3* 2)/(4* 21)

∴ W =
(1)/(14) miles

Hence The width of the rectangle is
(1)/(14) miles Answer
