Can someone alter this to fit the " if...then" hypothesis format

My hypothesis is that the water was going to melt at 25-degrees Celsius and boil at 100-degrees Celsius.

Answer:

If the temperature of water meets 25-degrees Celsius then it will begin to melt because of the molecules speeding up. If the temperature of water rises further to meet 100-degrees Celsius then it will boil because of the heat causing the molecules to speed up even further.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hope this helps, though I'm not quite sure what you meant by "the water was going to melt" as water doesn't melt.
